At Westsound Home Care Training, our mission is to help you learn in a fun and supportive environment. We help you move smoothly through the process of becoming a certified Home Care Aide. We value hard work, integrity, and compassion. If you have a heart for service, we can teach you the skills to be a successful Home Care Aide.

We offer hands-on skills training and plenty of time to practice the skills you will need to be successful for the state test and when helping your clients. We believe in-person classes are the best opportunity to get your questions answered receive immediate feedback. Our friendly, empathetic staff ensure the best experience possible as you prepare for your Home Care Aide career.
Our Team

Our in-person training ensures the best experience possible as you prepare for your Home Care Aide career. We offer Home Care Aide Certification Training, Safety and Orientation on-line training access, and 4 days of in-person training at our facility in Port Orchard. Our Directors
Rob and Marilyn Oswald serve as co-owners and directors of Westsound Home Care. Both have had the experience of caring for their own parents at home. "We desired to have kind, compassionate and skilled caregivers for our parents. We want the same quality of caregivers for the clients we serve. We come alongside families as they navigate an often difficult season of life. We care for adults with varying levels of care needs. Some of our clients just need just a small amount of assistance, but we also care for those on hospice or who face considerable challenges and require help with multiple activities of daily living, including showering, dressing and toileting. We are pleased to offer training to our employees and those in our community who wish to become Home Care Aides. It is an honor to provide care to those we serve and we are so thankful for our hard working employees."
